Team News: Lee Cattermole out for Sunderland

Sunderland leave out Lee Cattermole for their last game of the season against Swansea City, but Sebastian Larsson is declared fit to start.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet leaves out Lee Cattermole for the last game of the season and, if reports are to be believed, the Uruguayan's last in charge of the Black Cats before taking charge of West Ham United.

The ex-Wigan midfielder failed to shake off a knock in time to play, but Poyet's recruit from Brighton & Hove Albion, Liam Bridcutt does start in midfield, as does Sebastian Larsson, who had been an injury doubt.

Marcos Alonso is also included for the Wearsiders as they look to finish their season with a flourish.

Meanwhile, Swansea City make six changes with Ashley Williams, Michel Vorm and Jonathan de Guzman and Pablo Hernandez among those left out of the starting lineup.

With Williams absent in defence, Welsh international Neil Taylor is given the captain's armband for the Swans final game of the season, while Gerhard Tremmel deputises in goal.

Neither side have relegation worries, but prize money is at stake and Swansea can finish as high as 12th or as low as 16th in the Premier League table, depending on how results go.

Sunderland: Mannone, Vergini, Bardsley, Brown, O'Shea, Bridcutt, Larsson, Colback, Johnson, Borini, Wickham

Swansea City: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Amat, Bartley, Taylor, Fulton, Shelvey, Dyer, Emnes, Routledge, Bony
