The visitors opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Johan Audel finished from close range.

Nantes doubled their lead in the 41st minute through Alejandro Bedoya, who latched onto Jordan Veretout's pass before slotting home.

With a minute of the first half left to play the away side scored their third goal of the afternoon. Following a quick break Serge Gakpe was found by Veretout and made no mistake to fire past Magno Novaes.

After the interval Nantes continued to dominate and Gakpe further extended their lead when his free kick found the top corner.

The home side raised hopes of a comeback in the 79th minute when Carl Medjani found the net and four minutes later they scored a second through Jean-Christophe Bahebeck.

Within three minutes Nantes scored their fifth goal of the game when Medjani put the ball into his own net and Banel Nicolita's free kick a minute from time sealed the three points.
