Vitesse extended their Eredivisie winning streak to four games with a 4-1 victory over Willem II this evening.
Ben Sahar cut Vitesse's two-goal lead in the early stages of the second half before late strikes from Denys Oliynyk and Abiola Dauda killed off the Willem fightback.
The visitors to Tilburg went ahead on 15 minutes through Davy Propper's third of the season, and Chelsea loanee Bertrand Traore doubled their advantage before the break.
However, a reply from former Stamford Bridge prospect Sahar, his second since joining Willem in the summer, set up an exciting finish as the hosts pushed for an equaliser.
They were caught on the counter-attack on 87 minutes, though, as Oliynyk restored Vitesse's cushion, and there was still time for Dauda to continue his prolific start to the campaign with a 93rd-minute fourth.
The result sees Vitesse, who have now scored 16 goals in their last three matches, and 20 during a five-match unbeaten run, climb to fifth in the table, as Willem drop to ninth.
