David Edwards replaces the injured Joe Allen in Wales's only change for the World Cup qualifier against Georgia in Cardiff.

David Edwards has replaced the injured Joe Allen in Wales's only change for their World Cup qualifier against Georgia in Cardiff this afternoon.

Allen scored the opening goal in his side's 2-2 draw with Austria on Thursday, but was later forced off having sustained a hamstring injury.

The Stoke City midfielder's absence means that Wales will be without both of their representatives from the Euro 2016 team of the tournament, with Aaron Ramsey also still sidelined.

Gareth Bale once again starts as he continues his quest to become his country's top goalscorer, with the Real Madrid man currently four goals short of Ian Rush's record.

Georgia, meanwhile, name an unchanged side to the one that was narrowly beaten by Republic of Ireland on Thursday as they search for their first point of the qualification campaign.

The visitors, ranked 127 places below Wales, have won all three of their previous matches against the Dragons and will be hoping to continue that perfect record today.
