Team News: Watford make four changes for Birmingham City clash

Watford manager Slavisa Jokanovic makes four changes for his side's crucial Championship match with Birmingham City.

Watford striker Odion Ighalo has been dropped to the substitutes' bench for Saturday afternoon's fixture with Birmingham City.

Ighalo netted for the Hornets during their 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest, but manager Slavisa Jokanovic has opted to include Matej Vydra.

Tommie Hoban, Juan Carlos Paredes and Miguel Layun have also been introduced into the team in place of Marco Motta, Ikechi Anya and Matthew Connolly.

Birmingham boss Gary Rowett has made just the one alteration to the side that started Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

Midfielder Peter Shinnie comes in for Diego Fabbrini, who is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Watford: Gomes, Paredes, Angella, Cathcart, Hoban, Guedioura, Watson, Layun, Abdi, Vydra, Deeney
Subs: Bond, Munari, Tozser, Forestieri, Anya, Ighalo, Motta

Birmingham City: Randolph, Grounds, Morrison, Kiernan, Caddis, Gleeson, Tesche; Cotterill, Shinnie, Gray, Donaldson
Subs: Doyle, Robinson, Thomas, Novak, Spector, Arthur, Davis
