Tony Pulis: 'West Bromwich Albion must focus on getting results'

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis says that the club must focus on getting results in the Premier League after struggling to sign players in the transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has said that the club must place full focus on getting points in the Premier League for the remainder of 2016.

At the start of August, it was announced that the club had been taken over by Chinese businessman Guochuan Lai but the Baggies were only able to take their total of summer signings to five before the end of the transfer window.

It has resulted in reports suggesting that Pulis could be the first Premier League boss to leave his role this season, but the Welshman has indicated that it is business as usual at The Hawthorns as they look to build on their solid start to the campaign.

The 58-year-old told reporters: "We've got players in and now everything has to be batted down and we have to get on with it.

"Everybody has got to get together now. We've got four or five months now to get as many points as we can.

"We have to focus on getting results. All the stuff that surrounds transfer windows is over. We need to get the results fans want."

West Brom face an away fixture at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
