Stuart Lancaster names unchanged team for England's Six Nations Italy clash

Stuart Lancaster keeps the same side and bench for England's Six Nations clash against Italy.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster has decided to keep the same side and bench for Saturday's Six Nations clash against Italy at Twickenham.

The team selection was expected to mirror the 23-man party that featured in their comeback 21-16 victory over Wales in last week's opener.

Centre Jonathan Joseph, who scored the match-winning try in Cardiff, and lock George Kruis will make their first ever starts at Twickenham at the weekend.

In terms of the replacements' bench, Nick Easter and Danny Cipriani, both of whom are back in the fold following exiles, keep their places.

England team to face Italy: Mike Brown (Harlequins, 34 caps), Anthony Watson (Bath Rugby, 5 caps), Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby, 7 caps), Luther Burrell (Northampton Saints, 8 caps), Jonny May (Gloucester Rugby, 12 caps), George Ford (Bath Rugby, 7 caps), Ben Youngs (Leicester Tigers, 43 caps), Joe Marler (Harlequins, 27 caps), Dylan Hartley (Northampton Saints, 62 caps), Dan Cole (Leicester Tigers, 46 caps), David Attwood (Bath Rugby, 17 caps), George Kruis (Saracens, 5 caps), James Haskell (Wasps, 54 caps), Chris Robshaw (captain, Harlequins, 33 caps), Billy Vunipola (Saracens, 13 caps)

Replacements: Tom Youngs (Leicester Tigers, 18 caps), Mako Vunipola (Saracens, 16 caps), Kieran Brookes (Newcastle Falcons, 7 caps), Nick Easter (Harlequins, 48 caps), Tom Croft (Leicester Tigers, 38 caps), Richard Wigglesworth (Saracens, 17 caps), Danny Cipriani (Sale Sharks, 9 caps), Billy Twelvetrees (Gloucester Rugby, 17 caps)
