Atlanta Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant has expressed his excitement at playing under new head coach Dan Quinn after speaking with his brother.
Quinn became the 16th head coach in the Falcons' history when he was appointed earlier this week, replacing Mike Smith at the club.
Trufant admitted that he can't wait to work with the 44-year-old after talking to his brother Marcus, who played under Quinn for two years at the Seattle Seahawks.
"He told me that he's a great coach," Trufant told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "He's going to help the players and he will get the best out of us. I'm excited."
The 24-year-old recorded 61 tackles and three interceptions for the Falcons in the 2014 season.
