Jairus Byrd to travel with Buffalo Bills to Washington

The Buffalo Bills have confirmed that Jairus Byrd will travel with the team to their pre-season game at the Washington Redskins tomorrow evening.

The safety returned to the team yesterday, having finally signed his franchise tender earlier this week.

However, reports have suggested that the 26-year-old would be open to a trade move away from the AFC East side.

Despite travelling with the team, Byrd is not expected to play in the pre-season contest, having not practised with the team this summer.
