The Chicago Bears have announced that they have hired Ryan Pace as their new general manager.
The Bears fired Phil Emery from the position after just two years at the club following their 5-11 record in the 2014 campaign, while head coach Marc Trestman was also relieved of his duties.
Pace will now join the Bears after he spent 14 seasons with the New Orleans Saints, the last two of which he spent as their director of player personnel.
The Bears are reportedly interviewing Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles along with other candidates to replace Trestman at Soldier Field.
