Marvin Lewis has said that the Cincinnati Bengals need players to rise up to replace a number of injured teammates.
Defensive tackle Geno Atkins is the latest member of the AFC North side's roster to be ruled out for the rest of the season, having sustained an ACL tear during the overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins earlier this week.
The head coach told reporters: "I think the good thing is we have a lot of good players, and guys have to rise up, step up and go. We've got to do other great things.
"We can score a lot of points if we need to and we can play great defense if we need to, so we need to keep doing it. We have to be just as consistent on special teams."
The Bengals are also without cornerback Leon Hall and safety Taylor Mays for the rest of the 2013 campaign.
