Josh McCown has sustained a shoulder injury late in the Cleveland Browns' 24-6 defeat to the St Louis Rams in the NFL.
The quarterback was forced out of the game in the fourth quarter at the Edward Jones Dome, holding his right arm as he headed off the field after colliding with the wall having run out of bounds.
Head coach Mike Pettine revealed after the game that the team is not yet sure how serious the injury is, but that backup Johnny Manziel would come in as starter if McCown has to miss some playing time.
McCown had completed 26 from 32 passes for 270 yards before picking up the injury.
