The Rams capitalised on a fumble from the visitors to take the early lead when Rodney McLeod gathered the ball and ran it back for the touchdown after Taylor Gabriel was stripped of possession.

St Louis extended their advantage through the boot of Greg Zuerlein when he kicked a 39-yard field goal through the posts after Josh McCown fumbled the ball when he was sacked by William Hayes.

The Browns got on the scoreboard in the second quarter to pull within seven points when Travis Coons hit a 25-yard field goal after they were denied in the redzone by strong play from the Rams' defense.

In the second half, Cleveland got back into the game when Coons notched his second field goal of the match, firing his kick through the posts from 44 yards.

The Rams hit back with an important score to take a 13-point lead when Gurley found the endzone from one yard to notch his first touchdown in the NFL.

Gurley secured his side's victory in the fourth quarter as he collected a pitch from Nick Foles and found space over the right side of the line to raid into the endzone for the 16-yard score.

The result leaves the Rams with a 3-3 record in their season, while the Browns are 2-5 and in third place in the AFC North.
