The Seattle Seahawks have released cornerback Perrish Cox, just 24 hours after signing him.
Free agent Cox only joined the NFC West leaders on Tuesday to bolster their depleted secondary.
However, NFL.com claims that Cox's stay in Seattle will be short-lived, with reporter Ian Rapoport saying on Twitter: "A day after signing Perrish Cox... The #Seahawks cut him today. All right."
Cox was released by the San Francisco 49ers, where he recorded two tackles and a forced fumble in nine games, earlier this month.
