The Seattle Seahawks have confirmed that they have activated offensive tackle Russell Okung to their active roster.
Okung was placed on the club's injured reserve - designated to return list after he tore a ligament in his foot following his side's win over the San Francisco 49ers.
However, he has made strides in his recovery in recent weeks and was deemed healthy enough to return to the active roster by head coach Pete Carroll for his side's end of season run-in.
To make room for Okung on the roster, the Seahawks released quarterback BJ Daniels.
