LeBron James says that he has been on the end of unfair treatment in the NBA this season.

Miami Heat star LeBron James has criticised the standard of officiating in the NBA following his team's to the Chicago Bulls.

The 28-year-old, who scored 32 points and was named MVP, believes that the tactics used against him were too rough and pointed to two incidents during the game.

He admitted that the treatment he is receiving is beginning to frustrate him.

"I believe, and I know, that a lot of my fouls are not basketball plays," James told reporters.

"First of all, Kirk Hinrich in the first quarter basically grabbed me with two hands and brought me to the ground. And the last one, Taj Gibson was able to collar me around my shoulder and bring me to the ground.

"Those are not basketball plays. And it's been happening all year. I've been able to keep my cool and try to tell [Heat coach Erik Spoelstra], 'Let's not worry about it too much,' but it is getting to me a little bit."

The defeat ended the Heat's 27-game winning streak.
