Tuvshinbat Byamba of Mongolia has booked his place in the next round of the Olympic welterweight tournament thanks to a win over Gabon's Yannick Mitoumba Mbemy.
The first round was very cautious, with both fighters sparing their shots and waiting for the opening.
However, Byamba opened up in the second round, bombarding his opponent with the left and the right in a string of eye-catching combinations.
As the fighters entered the final three minutes, Byamba had opened up a nine-point lead and Mitoumba's sloppy footwork and low guard kept getting him in trouble.
The Mongolian secured a 17-4 victory.
