Mongolia's Tugstsogt Nyambayar has shocked fourth seed Vincenzo Picardi of Italy in the Olympic flyweight tournament.
Both fighters made a good start to the contest, but it was the Italian who made the better impression, taking a 6-4 lead.
Nyambayar took the fight to Picardi in the second, before the Italian tried to alter the flow by launching a few attacks.
Picardi tried to confuse his opponent by switching from orthodox to southpaw, but it worked in Nyambayar's favour.
The Mongolian was just as adept on the back foot, picking Picardi off time and time again as he closed the gap.
With the scores level heading into the last, it was Nyambayar who was finishing the stronger of the two.
The Italian's legs looked weary and his guard was low as Nyambayar worked his right hand over nicely.
A good contest came to a close with the judges handing the Mongolian a 17-16 decision.
