Ireland have been knocked out of the World Twenty20 after their Group A match against Bangladesh was abandoned due to rain.
John Bracewell's side gained just the one point, and they join the Netherlands in failing to qualify for the main draw.
Ireland won the toss and elected to field, but rain disrupted the flow of the match as umpires abandoned the game after just eight overs.
In that time, Bangladesh reached 94-2, with Tamim Iqbal top-scoring on 47 runs and Soumya Sarkar contributing 20 off 13 balls.
Andy McBrine and George Dockrell took the two wickets, but they were unable to add to their tally due to the adverse weather conditions.
Sabbir Rahman was unbeaten on 13 runs, while Shakib Al Hasan had failed to get off the mark when the umpires called an end to the match.
