The duo produced a five-dive total of 300.24 to narrowly pip Canada pair Jennifer Abel and Pamela Ware, who finished second with 295.65.

Australia's Maddison Keeney and Anabelle Smith missed out on the silver, claiming bronze after finishing their five dives with a score of 294.72.

Blagg and Gallantree's triumph caps a successful last hour for Team England in the pool as Jack Laugher claimed gold in the 1m springboard earlier tonight.
