Derek McInnes has expressed his delight at Aberdeen's 4-3 win against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The Dons were 4-0 up at half time after a brace from Barry Robson and further goals from Peter Pawlett and Niall McGinn.
Caley Thistle came back fighting in the second half with Billy McKay scoring twice in the opening 11 minutes before Graeme Shinnie added a third late on.
Nevertheless, Aberdeen held on for the win and McInnes has said that he is happy with how his players performed.
"I was delighted to get the three points. We came here with that objective," he told reporters.
"We managed to get ourselves 4-0 up at half-time, but we knew how dangerous Inverness would be if they got a goal early in the second half.
"I thought in the first half we were excellent. We showed that bit of quality and style, but the big thing for me was the energy of the players and putting the opposition under pressure."
Aberdeen are third in the Scottish Premiership.
