Auxerre vs. Ajaccio (Sunday, 12.00pm)

Two newly-promoted Ligue 1 teams struggling at the wrong end of the table will lock horns at the Stade de l'Abbe-Deschamps on Sunday as Auxerre play host to Ajaccio.
Both sides are currently sitting in the relegation zone, but a victory for either team could see them climb out of the bottom four.
We say: Auxerre 0-1 Ajaccio
Considering the last three meetings between these two sides have all ended goalless, a closely-fought contest could be on the cards this weekend.
However, Ajaccio appear to have turned a corner away from home and we can see them snatching all three points with a slender victory.

Monaco vs. Angers (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Monaco will wrap up the month by welcoming Angers to Stade Louis II on Sunday in Ligue 1 action in the Principality.
Heading into this encounter Les Monegasques are winless in four consecutive matches in all competitions, while Angers have lost their last four league fixtures and are dead last in the table.
We say: Monaco 2-0 Angers
Not only have Monaco had plenty of success in the top-flight against Angers, but they are also going up against a vulnerable defensive unit who have been far too passive at the back.
Angers allow too many clear-cut opportunities, something that we expect Les Monegasques will be able to take advantage of on Sunday.

Nantes vs. Clermont (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Seeking to maintain their position in the top half of Ligue 1, Clermont travel to the Stade de la Beaujoire to face Nantes on Sunday.
The hosts, meanwhile, have recently climbed out of the relegation zone and will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run to three matches.
We say: Nantes 3-2 Clermont
Considering both sides look threatening going forward but also leaky at the back, goals are to be expected on Sunday.
Nantes got the better of Clermont in both home and away fixtures last season and we can see the Canaries following up their midweek home win with another three points at the Stade de la Beaujoire.

Brest vs. Reims (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Two stand-in managers will pit their wits against one another at the Stade Francis-Le Ble in Sunday's Ligue 1 showdown, as Brest face off against Reims.
Bruno Grougi led his side to a 3-1 success over Clermont last time out, while the hosts are also aiming to make it back-to-back wins after besting Auxerre 2-1.
We say: Brest 1-1 Reims
With Brest and Reims both going into Sunday's showdown in near-identical situations, a tight contest ought to be on the menu, and Balogun will need no second invitation to expose the hosts' defensive shortcomings.
Beating a top-half side in Clermont would have done wonders for Les Pirates' confidence, but they have not treated their fans to spectacular showings on their own patch, and we can envisage a third successive 1-1 draw between the two sides here.

Rennes vs. Montpellier (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Two Ligue 1 teams experiencing contrasting runs of form do battle at Roazhon Park on Sunday when Rennes play host to Montpellier HSC.
While Les Rouge et Noir have won each of their last four top-flight matches, La Paillade are seeking to avoid a fifth successive league defeat.
We say: Rennes 3-0 Montpellier HSC
Montpellier may have had a few days extra rest, but Rennes will still be regarded as the favourites for Sunday's contest.
The hosts have been scoring goals for fun in recent weeks and we expect their in-form attackers to have more joy in front of goal at the Roazhon Park, with a comfortable three points on the cards against a Montpellier side who are missing a number of key players.

Lorient vs. Nice (Sunday, 4.05pm)
© Reuters
High-flying Lorient will be looking to maintain their position in the top three of Ligue 1 when they welcome Nice to the Stade du Moustoir on Sunday.
The two teams head into this contest 14 points apart in the table and have both drawn their last two league matches.
We say: Lorient 2-1 Nice
Both sides have made themselves difficult to beat in recent weeks, but Lorient will be regarded as favourites for Sunday's encounter considering their bright start to the campaign and position in the table.
The hosts have impressed going forward of late, netting at least twice in six of their last seven matches, and they should have few problems in front of goal against Nice, who have kept just one clean sheet all season.

Lyon vs. Lille (Sunday, 7.45pm)
© Reuters
Fresh from picking up his first victory as Lyon manager, Laurent Blanc prepares for his baptism at the Groupama Stadium as Lille pay a visit for Sunday evening's Ligue 1 clash.
Les Gones ran out 2-1 winners over Montpellier HSC last weekend, while the visitors recovered from a string of defensive errors to put Monaco to the sword 4-3.
We say: Lyon 2-2 Lille
An entertaining showdown between two sides who have the Midas touch about them is an ideal way to wrap up this weekend's Ligue 1 action, and goals should be on the cards between these two prolific outfits.
Fonte's return to the backline is invaluable for Lille, who would do well to take advantage of a Diomande-less Lyon defence, but Lacazette and Aouar are more than capable of coming up with the goods and forcing a share of the spoils.
