Robbie Savage: Arsenal have "no chance" against Bayern Munich

Robbie Savage claims that Arsenal have "no chance" in the second leg of their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich.

Robbie Savage has claimed that Arsenal have "no chance" of overturning their 2-0 deficit to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Gunners were beaten by the European champions at the Emirates on Wednesday night, and Savage does not rate their chances of turning the tie around in the second leg at the Allianz Arena.

He told The Mirror: "Just as I give Manchester City no hope of retrieving a two-goal deficit against Barcelona at the Nou Camp, I'm afraid Arsenal have no chance in the Allianz Arena.

"It looks like Chelsea are now English football's best bet to fly the flag in the Champions League this season now.

"Arsenal's performance was spirited. At least they took the game to Bayern before finding out how hard it is to face one of the best sides in the world with only 10 men. But that second goal right at the end has killed them."

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil took to his Facebook account to apologise for the defeat.
