Arsenal, Barcelona 'learn Nicolas Tagliafico asking price'

Ajax inform Arsenal and Barcelona that the price for Nicolas Tagliafico is £22.4m, according to a report.

Ajax have reportedly informed Arsenal and Barcelona that the price for Argentine defender Nicolas Tagliafico during this summer's transfer window is €25m (£22.4m).

The 27-year-old recently suggested that he would be leaving his Dutch club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign, and both Arsenal and Barca have been credited with an interest.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ajax are prepared to sell the left-back during this summer's transfer window, although they will not accept offers of less than €25m (£22.4m).

The South American has been a key figure for his Amsterdam side since arriving from Independiente in January 2018, contributing 12 goals and 15 assists in 99 appearances in all competitions.

Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar recently conceded that key players, including Tagliafico, Andre Onana and Donny van de Beek, are likely to leave the club this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in the full-back.
