Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico has suggested that he would be interested in joining Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.
The 27-year-old moved to the Dutch giants from Independiente in January 2018 and has been a key player for the club since his arrival, contributing 12 goals and 15 assists in 99 appearances in all competitions.
Barca are believed to have identified the Argentina international as a potential left-back target ahead of the 2020-21 campaign due to the uncertainty surrounding Junior Firpo's future.
Tagliafico has said that there is currently "nothing concrete" from the Spanish champions, but he is seemingly open to joining the club in the upcoming market.
"It was always my goal to play in the best competitions, at a top club," Tagliafico told Continental. "Ajax is a great club, but the Eredivisie is not a great competition. You must always have dreams. The preparations will start in August for around two months. But whether or not I'll leave... it's all uncertain.
"I'm trying to think about my condition, to stay fit as possible in case I go to another club. I'm standing on the sidelines. Maybe I'm on [Barcelona's] list, but there is nothing concrete. You must stay calm. I'm also trying to stay calm. If something happens then I'll talk with my agent."
Ajax chief executive Edwin van der Sar recently opened the door for Tagliafico - thought to be valued in the region of €35m (£30.4m) - to leave the Dutch giants.
