Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier has said that he has "more or less" decided which club he wants to join this summer, dropping Arsenal's name as a potential destination.
The Frenchman, 22, has been linked with the Gunners and manager Arsene Wenger recently compared Grenier to former player Samir Nasri.
Grenier, who was this week called up to the senior France squad for the first time, has said that he expects to leave Lyon this summer.
"I have more or less made a decision about which club I want to join," Sky Sports News quotes Grenier as saying.
"I have made the choice for sporting reasons above all. Arsenal? It could well be them.
"There would be competition for places, but you get that at all big clubs and it does not stop me making my decision."
Lyon coach Remi Garde is confident that he can keep Grenier at the Stade de Gerland.
