Luis Enrique wants top spot

Luis Enrique wants Barcelona to win their remaining games in the Champions League group stage in order to play the second leg of their last-16 tie at home.

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has said that he is desperate for his side to finish top of their Champions League group.

The La Liga giants are already assured of a place in the knockout stages, but they currently trail Paris Saint-Germain by a single point at the top of Group F.

"We need the points if we want to finish top of the group," he told reporters. "Our primary goal is to qualify, which we've already done.

"Now we want to finish first because we'd like to play the second leg of the next round at home, it'd give us an advantage."

Barcelona visit APOEL on Tuesday evening, before finishing their group stage campaign with a home tie against PSG.
