Sunday's La Liga predictions including Elche vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's La Liga fixtures, including Elche vs. Barcelona.

Osasuna vs. Granada (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Granada will make the trip to Pamplona this weekend ahead of their La Liga clash against relegation-threatened Osasuna at El Sadar on Sunday.

Due to rescheduling earlier on in the campaign, just two weeks have passed since these two sides last met in the league, an encounter that saw Granada emerge victorious in Andalusia.

We say: Osasuna 1-3 Granada

Osasuna are a tough team to break down, just ask Zinedine Zidane. However, Granada do not mess around and with the likes of Kenedy, Suarez and Soldado all likely to play a part, it seems unlikely that Arrasate's men will be able to keep the Andalusians at bay.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Elche vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Barcelona will be looking to make it four La Liga victories in a row when they continue their 2020-21 campaign away to struggling Elche on Sunday afternoon.

The Catalan giants have won their last four in the league to move into third position in the table, but Elche have not been victorious since the end of October, which has seen them drop into the relegation zone.

We say: Elche 1-2 Barcelona

Elche are certainly capable of making it difficult for a Barca side that have struggled to show consistency this season. Messi's absence is a huge boost for the home team, but we are expecting the Catalan giants to collect all three points courtesy of a narrow success.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Celta Vigo vs. Eibar (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Celta Vigo will entertain La Liga strugglers Eibar on Sunday at the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos.

Celta Vigo come into this game on the back of a terrible run of results in recent weeks, and a loss against Eibar would make it five consecutive defeats in all competitions for the Galician outfit.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-1 Eibar

If recent results are anything to go by, this game could be a particularly dire affair between two sides without much going for them. We do not think anything will be able to separate them at the final whistle.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Atletico vs. Valencia (Sunday, 8.00pm)

In the not-so-distant past, a La Liga clash between Valencia and Atletico Madrid would have been considered a mouth-watering encounter between two titans of the Spanish game. This season, Javi Gracia's side will primarily be looking to come away from the capital with their dignity intact.

League-leaders Atletico, who have only been bested by eternal rivals Real Madrid in the league this season, will come into this tie eyeing up their seventh league win on the bounce as they chase their first La Liga title since 2014.

We say: Atletico Madrid 2-0 Valencia

There is a real sense that we are witnessing peak Simeone at the moment. The manager has Atleti working like a well-oiled machine and we cannot see Valencia throwing a spanner in the works. We are going for 2-0 with goals from Suarez and Marcos Llorente.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Getafe (Monday, 8.00pm)

Athletic Bilbao will be looking to make it four straight victories in all competitions when they welcome Getafe to San Mames in La Liga on Monday night.

The Basque outfit, who are currently 13th in Spain's top flight, won the Spanish Super Cup last weekend before beating Ibiza in the Copa del Rey on Thursday, but they will be coming up against a Getafe side that have recorded victories in their last two league games against Elche and Huesca.

We say: Athletic Bilbao 1-1 Getafe

This is a very difficult match to call as both sides will enter the contest in good form. Athletic will be keen to return to winning ways in the league, but Getafe have shown a lot of improvement in recent games, and we are finding it difficult to separate the teams here.
