Barcelona defender Eric Abidal has passed on his best wishes to Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba.
Muamba, 23, is currently in a critical condition at the London Chest Hospital, having suffered a cardiac arrest while playing against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening.
French international Abidal, who is awaiting a liver transplant, has taken the time to offer his support to the Wanderers player.
"Fabrice Muamba - wholeheartedly with you and your family!" Abidal wrote on his Facebook account.
Recent reports have claimed that a donor had been found for Abidal.
