Former Barcelona star Rivaldo tips Neymar to become the world's best player during his time at Camp Nou.

Barcelona legend Rivaldo believes that fellow Brazilian Neymar will become the world's best player at Camp Nou.

Neymar joined Barca from Santos for a reported £30m earlier in the summer.

"Barcelona have secured one of the best signings of recent times," Rivaldo told Sport. "He will continue to dominate for years to come.

"Just watch now, he's so young and is making a difference on a global level. Imagine what he can do in the coming seasons.

"Neymar will leave Barcelona fans speechless. He could become an even better player than he was during the Confederations Cup with Brazil. He'll easily adapt to the style of the team, and will be very happy there."

The 21-year-old recently revealed his excitement at linking up with four-time FIFA Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
