Neymar urges Paul Pogba to join Barcelona

Brazilian star Neymar says that he would like to see Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba join him at Barcelona this summer.

Barcelona forward Neymar has told Paul Pogba that a player of his high quality would always be welcome to join the club.

The France international has been linked with an array of clubs in the past, including former side Manchester United and most recently Manchester City.

Pogba's current club Juventus will reportedly hold out for at least £75m for their star player, although Neymar wants to link up with the Frenchman at Camp Nou.

"How he would fit in I don't know, but he is a great player and we would open the gates for him," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "He is a great star. He is still young - even younger than me I think - but I think a player with such quality is always welcome."

Injured Pogba sat out the Old Lady's 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in midweek, although he is expected to be fit to play a part in the return leg.
