Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane set a new Bundesliga record on Friday, eclipsing a feat previous held by Erling Haaland in the process.
Kane spent the international break helping England secure promotion to the top tier of the UEFA Nations League, netting in a 5-0 victory over Republic of Ireland on Sunday.
Now back in the colours of Bayern, the Three Lions skipper is looking to guide Vincent Kompany's side to the Bundesliga title, which would also end his long wait for club silverware.
The Bavarians took the next step to achieving that target by battling their way to a 3-0 victory over Augsburg on Friday night.
Not for the first time in a Bayern shirt, Kane was the star of the show as he netted a hat-trick, with two of his goals coming via the penalty spot and the latter two strikes being scored in added-on time.
As a result of the win, Bayern now sit eight points clear of RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga table ahead of the remaining fixtures on matchday 11.

What record did Kane break?
From his 11 starts in the Bundesliga this season, the 31-year-old has now contributed 14 goals and five assists, netting nine more times than any other Bayern player.
Kane's treble on Friday night also took him to 50 goals from just 43 matches in Germany's top flight, the fastest rate a half-century of goals in the division has ever been accumulated.
Haaland - now at Manchester City - had previously held the record from his stint with Borussia Dortmund, when he netted 50 goals in as many games.
The highest-profile goalscoring feat on Kane's radar for the remainder of the campaign is trying to beat Robert Lewandowski's record total for a Bundesliga season.
Lewandowski netted 41 times during 2020-21, while Kane recorded 36 goals during his first season at Bayern on the back of a switch from Tottenham Hotspur.

What next for Bayern and Kane?
Bayern now turn their attention to what is arguably the biggest week of their season thus far, starting with a home Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain.
Both of the European giants have already suffered two defeats from four matches in the competition and require a win to realistically keep them in contention for a top-eight spot.
Four days later on November 30, Bayern may the trip to Westfalenstadion to take on fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
