Birmingham City have utilised the emergency loan window by bringing in two new players prior to this evening's deadline.
The Blues have added Greg Halford to their squad, having earlier announced the arrival of James Vaughan.
Vaughan had been tipped with a move to St Andrew's as a potential replacement for the injured Clayton Donaldson, while experienced defender Halford is expected to provide further cover at the back.
Having failed to make an impact at Huddersfield Town this term, where he has been restricted to just four substitute appearances, Vaughan will now be given the chance to impress in the West Midlands.
"When the possibility of a loan came up, James asked me if we would consider it," Town head coach David Wagner told the club's official website.
"I considered the advantages and disadvantages, the fact that it is for only six weeks and that James wanted to go and we decided to allow it."
Birmingham currently occupy the final Championship playoff berth after taking 28 points from their opening 17 fixtures.
