Huddersfield Town striker James Vaughan has reportedly been the subject of a late loan bid from Birmingham City.
The Blues have been linked with a host of centre-forwards in recent days as manager Gary Rowett attempts to secure some cover for the injured Clayton Donaldson.
A number of potential deals are thought to have fallen through, which has brought about the interest in 27-year-old Vaughan, according to the Huddersfield Examiner.
However, Birmingham do not have long to conclude the move, with the loan window closing at 5pm today.
Vaughan has made four appearances for Huddersfield this term, all of which have been as a substitute.
