Birmingham City have recalled defender Will Packwood from his loan stint at League Two outfit Bristol Rovers.
The 20-year-old initially extended his loan at the Memorial Stadium to January 11, but due to a lack of defensive cover, Blues manager Lee Clark has opted to recall the player.
The Championship outfit have confirmed on their official website that Packwood will rejoin his parent club this week due to a knee injury suffered by left-back Mitch Hancox during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough.
The USA Under-20 international will be available for this weekend's clash against Bournemouth at the Goldsands Stadium.
