Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has praised the character his players showed during their 4-3 victory over Arsenal this afternoon.
Rovers came from behind twice, before holding off a late onslaught from the Gunners, to claim all three points.
Before the match, an estimated 1,000 supporters protested against Kean being manager of the club, but the boss hopes that today's success will help win the doubters over.
"Today we showed the type of character that a small majority of people have been questioning," Kean told Sky Sports News.
"Hopefully we can turn them people around now.
"After the break we showed exactly what we've got in the dressing room and I'm delighted."
Victory over Arsene Wenger's side was Blackburn's first of the season.
