Bordeaux and Reims fail to break the deadlock in their Ligue 1 contest on Saturday.

Bordeaux and Reims have played out a goalless draw at Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas in Ligue 1.

The hosts started the contest the better of the two sides as Diego Rolan took a shot on goal as early as the fourth minute.

Lamine Sane tried his luck for Bordeaux from outside the Reims penalty box in the 20th minute, but failed to keep his shot on target.

The visitors gradually began to make their way into the game, as Christopher Glombard, Gaetan Courtet and Floyd Ayite went close before the half-time interval.

David Bellion had a good chance for Bordeaux eight minutes after the restart but saw his effort turned away by Kossi Agassa.

The home side had the better chances as the second half progressed through Courtet, Cheick Diabate and Jaroslav Plasil, but had to settle for a point.
