Bordeaux have climbed to the top of Ligue 1 courtesy of a 2-1 victory over struggling Evian this evening.
Goals from Diego Rolan and Wahbi Khazri either side of half time helped Willy Sagnol's side to a result which leaves their opponents at the very opposite end of the table.

Rolan headed Khazri's delivery over the bar only shortly before he gave Bordeaux a 19th-minute lead by peeling off his marker to convert Nicolas Maurice-Belay's cross from 10 yards out.
Maurice-Belay nearly provided a second for the hosts when he teed up Gregory Sertic to drag a shot wide from the edge of the area, but Evian threatened a goal themselves prior to the interval.
Oliver Sorlin was only a few yards away from testing Cedric Carrasso with a 30-yard drive, while Nicolas Benezet perhaps should have scored when he blazed high from a Fabien Camus cross.
Khazri's second goal since making the switch across France from Bastia in the summer doubled Bordeaux's lead in style, as he cut in from the left flank to bend a shot beyond Jesper Hansen into the top corner.
Evian did not give up, though, and after Camus and Cedric Barbosa had gone close, Yeltsin Tejeda gave them hope of just a second point of the season when he shot past Carrasso on 86 minutes.
However, Bordeaux hung on to climb above Lille and Marseille, and leave Evian bottom and winless.
