One of the pre-tournament favourites, Colombia, begin their 2024 Copa America campaign on Monday against Paraguay in Group D action from NRG Stadium in Houston.

Los Cafeteros head into this tournament on a 23-match unbeaten run, most recently defeating Bolivia 3-0, while the Paraguayans won their previous encounter 1-0 over Panama.

We say: Colombia 1-0 Paraguay

The Colombians are just as sharp defensively as Paraguay, and we believe their experience and momentum will be enough to grind out a narrow victory.

Brazil vs. Costa Rica (Tuesday, 2.00am)

Matchday one of the 2024 Copa America concludes on Monday when the nine-time winners, Brazil, take on Costa Rica in Group D action from SoFi Stadium.

In their final tune-up match before this tournament, Selecao played to a 1-1 draw with the USA, while Los Ticos defeated Grenada 3-0 in a World Cup qualifier earlier this month.

We say: Brazil 3-0 Costa Rica

The Costa Ricans have had no trouble in World Cup qualifying thus far, but Brazil have an array of talented youngsters and experienced players to call upon, and we believe they will overwhelm Los Ticos, who are still going through a transitional period.
