Brentford have reportedly held talks over a potential move to sign Fiorentina defender Joshua Kayode amid reports that the Bees have received a proposal for Mads Roerslev.
The Brentford full-back has not always been the first-choice option this season, but he has been given a run of games in recent weeks, having started each of Brentford's last five Premier League matches, including Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
While he may be enjoying regular playing time, Roerslev could depart the Gtech Community Stadium before the transfer window shuts next month.
A recent report claimed that German side Wolfsburg had opened talks over a potential move to sign the Denmark international.

Wolfsburg submit Roerslev offer
According to journalist Florian Plettenburg, Wolfsburg are now stepping up their interest by submitting an official offer.
The Bundesliga club are proposing a loan deal after holding positive talks with Roerslev's camp over a potential move.
While Roerslev is yet to reach a verbal agreement with Wolfsburg, he is believed to be 'very open' about the prospect of joining Ralph Hasenhuttl's side.
In a separate update, Sky Sports News claims that Brentford are yet to make a decision and are currently 'mulling' over the proposal before they give Wolfsburg their answer.
The proposed loan agreement includes certain conditions that could see Roerslev complete a permanent move to the Volkswagen Arena.

Brentford pursuing Kayode move
If Roerslev were to leave, Thomas Frank would be without any fit right-back options with Aaron Hickey and Kristoffer Ajer both on the sidelines.
As a result, Brentford appear to be pursuing a deal to sign Fiorentina's Kayode as a possible replacement for Roerslev.
As per Nicolo Schira, Brentford are currently in negotiations with Fiorentina over a move to bring Kayode to the Gtech Community Stadium.
The update claims that both clubs are looking to reach a final agreement on the potential 'formula of the deal'.
Kayode could be looking to gain playing time elsewhere, having been restricted to just 12 competitive appearances for Fiorentina this season.
The 20-year-old was left out of the squad for Sunday's draw with Torino, potentially offering a hint that he could be heading towards the exit door at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
