Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton has outlined his desire to become a regular in the England squad.
The 29-year-old received his first call-up to the Three Lions by Roy Hodgson following his excellent form towards the end of the season for the Clarets, despite their relegation to the Championship.
Heaton is determined to impress at his first crack at international football to ensure he becomes a regular in the squad.
He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted, I'm thoroughly enjoying it but I'm also here to do a job and I want to perform for my country.
"It's fantastic to be here for myself, the goalkeeping coach Billy Mercer, the manager, the staff and everyone connected with the club.
"But I have to make it clear my ambition goes far beyond just getting into the squad and making it a one-time thing. I've got my foot in the door and I want to make sure I make an impact so that I can come back again."
Heaton could make his first appearance on Sunday in England's friendly match against the Republic of Ireland.
