Former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez reveals that he is ready to make a return to management with a club that can match his ambitions.

Rafael Benitez has revealed that he is keen on returning to management with a "top club".

The Spanish boss has been without a job since leaving Inter Milan in December 2010.

His experience at Premier League and Champions League level has led to him being linked with the vacancy at Chelsea over the last couple of days.

Despite refusing to confirm his interest in the Stamford Bridge hotseat, Benitez admitted that a club like Chelsea could tempt him.

"I would like to have a future with a top side and a top club that can fight for titles and challenge," Benitez told Sky Sports News.

"That was my idea when I came to Liverpool and when I went to Inter Milan."

Benitez spent six seasons in the Premier League with Liverpool up until 2010.
