Chelsea will reportedly sack Andre Villas-Boas and appoint former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez this week.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly considering replacing coach Andre Villas-Boas with Rafael Benitez this week.

Abramovich has lost patience with the Portuguese boss following yesterday's 1-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion, according to the Sunday Mail.

The Blues owner is believed to have already held initial discussions with Benitez about taking over at Stamford Bridge.

The report has claimed that Benitez will be offered an 18-month contract.
