Team News: Fernando Torres returns for Chelsea

Chelsea name Fernando Torres in their starting lineup for this evening's Premier League match against Stoke City.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has recalled Fernando Torres to the starting lineup for this evening's Premier League match against Stoke City.

The 30-year-old was on the bench for their 3-1 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek, but leads the line with Samuel Eto'o still out injured.

Ramires is serving the last of a three-match suspension, so Nemanja Matic comes into the midfield, while there are also starts for Frank Lampard and Mohamed Salah.

Meanwhile, Stoke City have made one change to their starting XI after last weekend's 1-0 victory over Hull City.

Wilson Palacios comes in for Stephen Ireland, with Peter Crouch and Peter Odemwingie leading the attack for the visitors.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Lampard, Matic, Schurrle, Willian, Salah, Torres

Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters, Odemwingie, Whelan, Palacios, Nzonzi, Arnautovic, Crouch
