Aymen Abdennour has hinted that he turned down Barcelona this summer to complete a move to Valencia.
The 26-year-old penned a five-year contract at the Mestalla on Sunday after the Spanish side agreed a price with Monaco.
The central defender has revealed that he also had offers from the Premier League and Serie A, but saw La Liga as the most attractive proposition.
"My agents travelled to Barcelona, London and Italy, but today I'm here and I'm very happy," Abdennour told reporters.
"The negotiations began a short time ago with my agents. I had many offers, but I was most impressed by Valencia's interest."
Abdennour had also been linked with a move to Chelsea.
