Nothing can separate CSKA Moscow and Wolfsburg as the teams have reached the half-time interval in tonight's Champions League Group B match goalless.
The German outfit dominated the ball in the early stages of the game, with Bas Dost causing the most trouble when on the attack.
The forward came close to opening the scoring inside the first seven minutes after latching on to the end of Christian Trasch's cross, but his header fell wide of the post.
A minute later, Dost was involved again as he got in position to launch a shot at goal, but his touch let him down as the ball sailed over the crossbar.
It was a relatively uneventful opening 15 minutes, but the home side struggled to get service to Seydou Doumbia, and while Wolfsburg had most of the possession they were unable to create much danger with it.
Both defences frustrated the attacking players of either side, but Wolfsburg tried to up the tempo when Daniel Caligiuri passed the ball out wide to Trasch, whose low cross failed to find Dost.
The visitors continued to dominate as Igor Akinfeev was forced to produce the first save of the game after Max Kruse sent a half-volley goal-bound off Dost's cushion header.
CSKA need to avoid defeat in order to keep their hopes of reaching the last 16 alive, while Wolfsburg can top the group with a win before Manchester United and PSV Eindhoven play this evening.
