First-half strikes from Carl Medjani and Johan Cavalli have earned Ajaccio their second Ligue 1 win of the season at the expense of Evian TG.
Medjani opened the scoring on 20 minutes when he headed home from Cavalli's floated corner.
Cavalli then extended the hosts' lead four minutes before the break with a close-range tap in.
Evian rallied in the second half, but neither Olivier Sorlin or Saber Khelifa could find a way past Guillermo Ochoa in the Ajaccio goal.
Evian remain in the relegation zone with just one point from their opening four games, while Ajaccio are six points better off in seventh place.
