Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Women's Champions League clash between FC Twente Women and Celtic Women, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.

FC Twente Women and Celtic Women will play their final European game of the season when they face off at Sportpark Schreurserve in Tuesday's Women's Champions League encounter.

Chelsea and Real Madrid have already sealed quarter-final berths, leaving Twente and Celtic to play for pride in the final round of group games.

After negotiating their way through qualifying, Twente have found life difficult in their first group-stage appearance despite the fact they began the main draw with a 2-0 win over Celtic.

However, that result was soon followed by a 3-1 defeat against Chelsea, before they suffered back-to-back UWCL defeats against Real Madrid, losing 7-0 in the Spanish capital before falling to a narrow 3-2 defeat in the reverse fixture.

They were then outclassed in last week's trip to Stamford Bridge, with Kayleigh van Dooren's first-half penalty proving fruitless in a heavy 6-1 defeat against Chelsea.

While they have been eliminated, Twente will still be determined to claim their first home win in the UWCL main draw when they play host to Celtic on Tuesday.

The hosts will head into the European fixture off the back of a victory after Jaimy Ravensbergen netted a brace to guide her side to a 2-1 home win over PEC Zwolle, extending their winning league run to three matches.

Celtic are at risk of losing all six group matches after finding it tough going in their first-ever appearance in the UWCL main draw.

After losing to Twente on matchday one, Celtic went on to lose 4-0 away to Real Madrid before losing back-to-back European games against Chelsea.

Elena Sadiku's side gave up a narrow lead to lose 2-1 in their home meeting with the WSL champions, before falling to a 3-0 defeat in the return fixture at Stamford Bridge.

Celtic suffered another 3-0 loss in last week's home game against Real Madrid, ensuring they will enter matchday six as one of three teams yet to pick up a point in this season's group stage.

After failing to find the net in their first two away group games, the visitors will travel to the Netherlands with hopes of showing the sort of goalscoring form that has seen them score at least two goals in five of their six league games this season.

Team News

Wales international Olivia Clark is set to replace Danielle de Jong in the Twente goal after dropping down to the bench at the weekend.

Nikee Van Dijk was also taken out of the side for Saturday's win over PEC Zwolle, but the forward is likely to feature in Tuesday's lineup, having started all five of Twente's UWCL group games.

Ravensbergen will be looking to continue her impressive form in front of goal after scoring five goals in her last five competitive appearances.

As for the visitors, they are unable to call upon the services of Chloe Craig, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in September.

Midfielder Natalie Ross is pushing for a starting spot after coming off the bench to play around half hour against Real Madrid.

Having scored Celtic's only goal of the group stage, Murphy Agnew will lead the quest for more European goals when she lines up against Twente.

FC Twente Women possible starting lineup:
De Jong; Vliek, Knol, Carleer, Tuin; Van Ginkel, Peddemors; Ivens, Van Dooren, Hulst; Ravensbergen

We say: FC Twente Women 3-1 Celtic Women

Both teams have struggled to compete with the quality at Chelsea and Real Madrid's disposal, but Twente proved they have the edge over Celtic when they faced off in October, and we expect the Dutch side to claim another victory in Tuesday's return fixture.
