Ipswich Town recall Luke Hyam from Rotherham United loan

Ipswich Town recall Luke Hyam from his loan at fellow Championship side Rotherham United for the upcoming festive period of fixtures.

Ipswich Town have recalled midfielder Luke Hyam from his loan at fellow Championship side Rotherham United.

The 24-year-old initially joined the Millers on a deal that ran through until the New Year, but Ipswich have called him back for the busy festive period.

Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn told the club website: "I would like to thank Mick McCarthy and Ipswich Town for allowing us to take Luke here.

"I would also like to thank Luke for his service to us; he did a great job for the club during the time he was here.

"I thought he was outstanding in the victory over Hull City last Saturday and we wish him all the best for the future."

Hyam made a total of five appearances during his time with the Millers.
