Copenhagen have revealed that they have accepted a bid from Leicester City for their 21-year-old defensive-minded midfielder Daniel Amartey.
A report last week claimed that the Foxes had launched a £6m bid for the highly-rated youngster, who has played six times for the Ghana national team.
Via a statement on their official website, the Danish club have confirmed that a price has been agreed and the youngster will now begin negotiating personal terms with the Premier League outfit.
Should Amartey arrive at the King Power, he would become the club's second January signing after Demarai Gray made the move from Birmingham City.
Leicester have only lost two of their 22 league games this season, with a total of 44 points leaving them second in the Premier League table.
